Last Sunday Class 6 of a school in Junagadh went to Gir. The students carried water bottles and a first-aid box. Their teacher told them, “Do not shout. Watch the animals quietly.” They saw spotted deer and peacocks. A guide explained that Asiatic lions live only in Gir. After lunch the class cleaned the picnic spot. “If we keep the forest clean, animals will stay safe,” said Kabir.
